Welcoming Our Newest Team Members

In the first half of 2022, Innospark welcomed three new core team members.

Jeff Knox, Associate

Jeff brings experience from his six years of life sciences consulting, where he advised on the development and commercialization for a variety of biotechnology and healthcare clients, covering a broad swath of modalities and care areas. He is deeply interested in the translation of technology through entrepreneurship and served as Managing Director of the founding Boston chapter of Nucleate, helping to build, educate, and support new biotech venture teams. Jeff holds a BS in Biomedical Engineering from the Johns Hopkins University, and an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management. Outside work you can find him joining local pick up frisbee games, hiking the list of 4,000 footers in New Hampshire, or cooking on weekends.

Max Krause, Analyst

Prior to joining the team full-time in March 2022, Max interned with Innospark in 2020 and 2021. Max received a BA in Economics and a BA in International Studies from the College of the Holy Cross, where he explored his passion for entrepreneurship, startups, and technology while working on two ideas surrounding e-commerce and mental health. During his time in college, he served as the captain of the Holy Cross Men’s Soccer Team and was recently awarded the John A. Meegan Athletic Achievement Award. Originally from Germany, Max enjoys traveling, learning new languages, and supporting his favorite soccer team, Borussia Mönchengladbach.

Geoff Melton, Lead, Digital Strategy

Geoff joins Innospark with years of experience building digital products and solutions. Most recently, he served as Director of Technology at John Hancock Investment Management focused on digital innovation and enhancements for the organization. He led cross-functional agile development squads to incubate new concepts, build and support digital products and platforms for their customers. Previously, he was at Sapient Nitro and Global Markets where he led digital strategy projects for Dunkin Brands, Schneider Electric, The Hartford, and EMC Corporation. Prior to Sapient he spent a decade at Digitas consulting for some of the most recognizable global brands such as Disney, AT&T, Fidelity Investments, General Motors, AARP, SAP, Bayer Healthcare, Stop & Shop and Blue Cross Blue Shield. He also founded a web design startup helping small/mid-sized businesses establish their initial digital presence. Geoff started his career working in New York City at Time Life with Dr. C Everett Koop creating the TimeLife Medical website. Geoff graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a BA in Communications where he competed on the Varsity Crew team winning both a New England and National Championship title in Men’s Lightweight 8+. In his spare time, he enjoys being active outdoors, joining his spouse as superfans of their two kids at their various athletic endeavors and eco-consciously traveling to experience nature, delicious food and local culture.

Jeff, Max & Geoff will all be involved with research, sourcing, diligence and supporting Innospark’s portfolio companies. We are very excited to have them on our team.
